The 8th Special Troops Battalion command group (the ‘Always Ready’ team), 8th Theater Sustainment Command, compete in their heat for the 2015 Na Koa Wounded Warrior Canoe Regatta Combat Veterans Division, Aug. 22, at Fort DeRussy Beach Park, Honolulu. The regatta is an annual event launched in 2009 and organized by Malama Na Koa to assist recovering troops through the healing power of the Hawaiian waters. The event featured teams from Wounded Warrior Families, Gold Star Families, Youth Division, veterans and combat veterans.
