U.S. Coast Guard Academy

The U.S. Coast Guard Academy dedicates a tree in honor of two cadets from the country of Georgia, First Class Cadet Soso Makaridze and Third Class Cadet Besarion Gorjoladze, who were killed in a car crash earlier in the year, New London, Conn., Aug. 19, 2015. The tree was a gift by the students of OCS 2-15 and NOAA BOTC 125, who were students when the two cadets were killed in March 2015. (U.S. Coast Guard photo by Petty Officer 3rd Class Lisa A.
