Dale Fairbanks, an artist and Louisiana native, discusses her process of creating the painting Rescue Me, which was dedicated to the U.S. Coast Guard at the Hale Boggs Federal Building, Tuesday. The painting depicts a Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter rescuing citizens of New Orleans closely following the passing of Hurricane Katrina. The painting now hangs for the public to see on the Magazine Street side of the Hale Boggs Federal Building. (U.S. Coast Guard photo by Petty Officer 2nd Class Seth Johnson)
