Military personnel are conducting what appears to be a combat training exercise at a forward operating base or training facility. Three soldiers are crawling through a mud pit while four supervising personnel, two wearing distinctive black cavalry hats, observe from the edge. The arid, flat terrain and military structures visible in the background suggest a desert environment.

Spurholders, from the 115th Brigade Support Battalion Muleskinners, sing a revised version of "If You're Happy and You Know It" that goes "On your belly, On your back, On your feet" to a team of "Maggots" as they act out the words of the song. The "Maggots" went through many different tasks, obstacles and much sleep deprivation over a three-day period to be dubbed with silver spurs.
