Petty Officer 3rd Class Yazmin Garcia, a native of Chicago, administers the annual flu vaccine to Airman 1st Class Robert Barker, from Sanford, N.C., Oct. 16. The Expeditionary Medical Facility has established a designated influenza team to educate camp personnel about the effects of the influenza virus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggest the best way to prevent seasonal flu is to receive a vaccination each fall and practice good health habits.
