    Oregon Army National Guard 1st Lt. The artillery training mission was the first of its kind to be executed in the history of the Oregon National Guard. More than a year of training and getting personnel Air Assault qualified lead up to the execution of Operation Thunderstruck. All nine Air Assault qualified Soldiers in the battalion graduated from the Air Assault course hosted by the Oregon National Guard at Camp Rilea in Warrenton, Ore., earlier this month.
