    130th Public Affairs Detachment

    Lt. James Barnes, of the 1st Battalion, 6th Marines Regiment, Camp Lejeune, N.C., takes notes regarding the Georgia National Army’s training, Aug. 8. Barnes is acting as an assessor for the Mission Readiness Exercise at Hohenfels Training Area, Germany, evaluating how a squad communicates and reacts during a simulated training exercise. The notes are given to U.S. Marine Georgian Liaison Team and the Georgia Army’s 22nd Infantry Battalion to review and adapt training as needed.
