GULF OF ADEN (Aug. 18, 2015) U.S. Marine Cpl. Jose Martinez practices his jab during a Marine Corps martial arts program green belt course aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23). Martinez is an administrative clerk with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. The 15th MEU is embarked on the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
