Ukrainian journalists, local and national, ask questions regarding medical training conducted during Fearless Guardian Aug. 18, 2015, during a press conference attended by paratroopers with the U.S. Army's 173rd Airborne Brigade and soldiers with the Ukrainian national guard. The paratroopers have trained the guardsmen on a variety of soldier skills from individual movement techniques and marksmanship to combat first aid. Paratroopers with the 173rd Abn. Bde. attend Press Club L'viv on a weekly basis to foster a public dialogue between the U.S., Ukrainian militaries and the Ukrainian public through a live web stream. Paratroopers from the 173rd Abn. Bde. are in Ukraine for the second of several planned rotations to train Ukraine's newly-formed national guard as part of Fearless Guardian, which is scheduled to last through November.
