An Airman from the 22nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron hydraulics shop checks the surge boots on the boom of a KC-135 Stratotanker, Aug. 13, 2015, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. Hydraulics shop Airmen inspected the boom during an hourly post-flight inspection to find and diagnose any issues that could prevent the boom from extending and retracting properly during flight.
