Sgt. 1st Class Bernard E. Miles (right), the noncommissioned officer in charge of the color guard who won the U.S. Army Pacific Best Color Guard competition, requests for the colors to be posted at the opening of the 130th Engineer Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command Luau, Hale Koa, Honolulu, Aug. 7. This was the first luau hosted by the brigade to celebrate the engineers' heritage and their mission accomplishments throughout the year. The festivities included a guest speaker, an awards ceremony, the cutting of the cake and live entertainment.
