Cpl. Aaron Bawle, from Tok, Alaska, assigned to the "Iron Horses" of Heavy Marine Helicopter Squadron 461 prepares a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter to be moved before flight operations on the flight deck of the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Wasp prior to pulling out of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Wasp is currently deployed on Southern Partnership Station-Amphib with DESRON 40 and a Security Cooperation Marine Air Ground Task Force embarked. Southern Partnership Station is part of the Partnership of Americas Maritime Strategy that focuses on building interoperability and cooperation in the region to meet common challenges.
