Capt. Virgil Barnard, commander of B Company, 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, issues orders and observes the battle from a rooftop during an assault on an enemy stronghold as part of a live fire-range at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, Calif., Aug. 10, 2015.
