Marine Week Phoenix is a community relations event that will be held in Phoenix, Sept. 10-13. “I think I speak for the entire valley when I say we appreciate this unique opportunity to learn more about our defenders of freedom, to meet them face to face, and to thank them for their service to country,” said Stanton. Marine Week Phoenix will provide Arizonans an opportunity to interact and become acquainted with the Marine Corps as America's expeditionary force in readiness. During the event, citizens will have the opportunity to view state-of-the-art static aircraft and ground equipment displays, military technology, combat weaponry and the Marine Corps Band. Marines will support community service projects and conduct a variety of demonstrations, including the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program and a simulated full-scale combat scenario.
