    150804-N-ZZ999-002 BARKING SANDS, Hawaii (August 4, 2015) - Builder 2nd Class Ben Reed, assigned to Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2, uncoils a section of damaged subsea cable, ensuring it is free and clear to be hauled up to the surface for cable splicing operations. UCT 2’s Construction Dive Detachment Charlie (CDDC) is performing subsea cable maintenance at the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF). CDDC is on the first stop of their deployment, where they are conducting inspection, maintenance and repair of various underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet.
