    A Landing Craft Utility (LCU) numbered 1666 is approaching and docking into the well deck of a larger amphibious ship. Military vehicles, including what appear to be tactical trucks, are loaded on the landing craft and are in the process of being offloaded onto the ship's well deck. Navy personnel in colored helmets and safety vests are positioned on the well deck to guide the operation.

    150808-N-KM939-449 SAIPAN HARBOR, Saipan (Aug. 8, 2015) - Vehicles from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are unloaded from the well deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) via Landing Craft Utility vehicle during disaster relief efforts in Saipan after Typhoon Soudelor made landfall.
