Sgt. Maj. Shane A. Austen, command sergeant major of Joint Task Force-East, gives a leadership class to Romanian senior non-commissioned officers at the Mihail Kogalniceanu Airfield, Romania, as part of JTF-East's NCO Day, Oct. 8. "The Romanian Land Forces are still forming their NCO corps," said Austen. "By bringing sergeants majors of both countries together, we can all help make a standard for the Romanian NCO corps," he added.
