Cpl. Scott Ostrom, a 21-year-old from Plantation, Fla., teaches Iraqi children to shoot a slingshot during a "knock-and-talk" patrol in Zaidon, Iraq. Ostrom and his team of Marines performed the mission to gain a better insight to trouble spots, eventually uncovering a buried weapons cache after a tip from a local Iraqi. Ostrom is assigned to B Company, 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 5.
