The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Eagle transits through New York Harbor prior to arriving in Brooklyn, July 31, 2015, as part of the 2015 cadet summer training deployment. With more than 23,500 square feet of sail and six miles of rigging, Eagle has served as a classroom at sea for future Coast Guard officers since 1946, offering an at-sea leadership and professional development experience.
