UH-60 Blackhawks of the Arizona Army National Guard's 2-285 Assault Helicopter Battalion depart Papago Park Military Reservation, Phoenix, Ariz., Tuesday, Oct. 6, en route to Fort Sill, Okla. for training immediately prior to deployment to Iraq for a about a year. More than 250 Ariz. soldiers, along with 150 soldiers from North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Utah will conduct assault helicopter operations in support of a combat aviation brigade in order to provide freedom of maneuver to U.S. forces.
