Lt. Col. Matthew W. Tracy, outgoing commanding officer, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, offers remarks during a change of command ceremony at Dewey Square, July 31, 2015. Tracy, a West Hartford, Conn., native, relinquished command of “Trinity” to Lt. Col. Timothy S. Brady, incoming commanding officer, 3rd Bn., 3rd Marines, and a Fairfax, Va., native. The mission of Marine Corps Base Hawaii, which is to provide facilities, programs and services in direct support of units, individuals and families in order to enhance and sustain combat readiness for all operating forces and tenant organizations aboard the installation.
