Iowa Army National Guard Maj. Evan Starcevic, a Force Integration Readiness Officer at Joint Forces Headquarters, Johnston, Iowa, is currently training at the Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, La., Aug. 2. Starcevic, an Albia native, deployed to Iraq from 2004 to 2006, and his unit, the 224th Engineer Battalion was responsible for identifying and disabling 82 IEDs. (Iowa National Guard photo by Sgt.
