Exercises such as Talisman Sabre 2015 provide realistic, relevant training which is necessary to maintain regional security, peace, and stability. Talisman Sabre provides an invaluable opportunity to conduct operations in a combined, joint, and interagency environment that increases the U.S.-Australian alliance’s ability to plan and execute contingency responses, from combat missions to humanitarian assistance efforts. Kennedy is the commanding general of Marine Expeditionary Brigade, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
