A U.S. Marine with 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, and an Australian soldier with 5th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment, Australian Army, Australian Defence Force, participate in the planning process for Exercise Talisman Sabre 2015 at Bradshaw Field Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia, July 7. Talisman Sabre provides an invaluable opportunity to conduct operations in a combined, joint, and interagency environment that increases both countries’ ability to plan and execute contingency responses, from combat missions to humanitarian assistance efforts.
