Sailors aboard the guided missile destroyer USS Cole take advantage of a break during flight quarters to repair a hole in the safety netting around the flight deck. Cole is scheduled to participate in Exercise Joint Warrior 09-2, a United Kingdom-led, multi-national and multi-warfare exercise designed to improve interoperability between allied navies as well as to prepare for a role in combined operations during upcoming deployments.
