    1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment

    U.S. Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, carry an injured Afghan civilian to a medevac helicopter Sept. 29 at Forward Operating Base Wilson. Fifteen civilians were killed, and 12 others were wounded when an improvised explosive device exploded beneath a bus Sept. 29 on Highway 1.
