With similar thoughts to a POW Table, a special table setting for a person lost to domestic violence is displayed at the Proclamation signing for Domestic Violence Awareness Month at the Fleet & Family Support Center - Hawaii located at Moanalua Navy Services Center, Sept. 28, 2009. U.S. Navy Region - Hawaii Commander Rear Admiral Dixon Smith signed the proclamation and Hawaii state Sen. Will Espero; Hawaii House Representative Lynn Finnegan; and 2009 Miss Hawaii, Ms. Raeceen Woolford also attended the event. There will be seven events throughout the month to raise awareness among the military and civilian communities.
