Aside from keeping the books balanced and ensuring that there is proper funding to make the command mission, Lt. Matthew Ozanich, assigned to Naval Hospital Bremerton and recently recognized as CY 2014 BUMED Financial Management Award Winner for Accountant of the Year, also helps determine that all the command’s fiscal responsibilities are in accordance with appropriation laws and policies.
