First Lt. Yesenia Cotto, a native of Aibonito, Puerto Rico, is deployed to Iraq with the 28th Combat Aviation Brigade. Cotto is serving as the transportation officer with the truck platoon in Company A, 628th Aviation Support Battalion, where she supervises the transportation activities as the platoon serves the needs of the 628th ASB and the 28th CAB. Cotto had also been serving the 628th ASB and the state of Pennsylvania back home by working for the battalion headquarters as they prepared for this deployment. In her spare time at home, Cotto spends as much time as possible with her son. She also enjoys dancing, running and watching movies. After Cotto returns to Pennsylvania from deployment, she plans on relaxing and taking a Disney cruise with her son. Cotto also needs to find permanent housing for herself and her son in Pennsylvania, so she can complete her move to Pennsylvania from Puerto Rico.
