WARSAW, Poland (June 15, 2015) Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus shakes hands with Lt. Gen. Lech Majewski, commander of the Polish General Command, as he departs the Polish General Command headquarters after discussing the multinational maritime exercise BALTOPS 2015. This annual exercise is designed to enhance flexibility and interoperability, as well as demonstrate resolve of allied and partner forces to defend the Baltic region. Mabus is visiting the region as part of a multinational trip to the U.S. European command area of responsibility to meet with military and civilian leaders and Sailors and Marines.
