Malone, commander, Helicopter Maritime Strike, Pacific, that he has been relieved as Commanding Officer of the "Scorpions” of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light (HSL) 49 by Cmdr. Bobby E. Brown at a change of command ceremony at Naval Air Station North Island. HSL-49 prepares, deploys and supports combat-ready Light Airborne Multipurpose System (LAMPS) Mark III expeditionary helicopter detachments to conduct embarked operations in direct support of U.S. Pacific Fleet surface combatants.
