ARABIAN GULF (July 9, 2015) - Gas Turbine System Technician (Mechanical) 2nd Class Mindy Walker, from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, gives training on gas turbine engine start procedures to Midshipman 3rd Class Helois Leosk, from Tallinn, Estonia, aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99). Farragut is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations as part of Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
