Staff Sgt. Angelic Leal, 851st Vertical Engineer Company, helps haul lumber unto the new roof with a Croatian army soldier June 29, 2015. Staff Sgt. Leal, a native of Roseville, Minn., and around 30 other members of 851st VEC along with the Croatian army, Armored Mechanic Brigade work together for repairs and to rebuild a roof on a damaged community center in the local town of Račinovci, Croatia. The project is a humanitarian civic assistance project made possible by the U.S. European Command in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Zagreb, Croatia.
