Brig. Gen. Mike Tarsa, deputy commanding general, 4th Infantry Division and Fort Carson, greets Lithuanian Col. Dalius Polekauskas, chief of staff of the Lithuanian Land Forces, upon arrival in Vilnius, Lithuania, July 1. Tarsa is heading the 4th Infantry Division Mission Command Element in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. The unit traveled to Lithuania to establish a headquarters there, demonstrating the capability for the unit to take the fight anywhere they are needed in Europe.
