Two military personnel are engaged in what appears to be an explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) training exercise near a brick wall. One soldier is wearing a full EOD bomb suit with helmet and face shield, while the other is in standard Army Combat Uniform (ACU) with a ballistic helmet, kneeling and handling a yellow spool of detonation cord or wire. The setting appears to be an indoor training facility.

An officer of the Endicott N.Y. Police Department, and a New York Army National Guard Soldier from the 1108th Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Company, render safe a training IED during the Raven's Challenge bomb disposal training exercise on June 24, 2015, at the New York State Preparedness Training Center in Oriskany, N.Y. The 2015 Raven's Challenege in Oriskany brought together EOD units from the New York Army and Air National Guard, U.S. Army, police forces from across New York, and military and police forces from Canada. Over the course of the week long challenge the forces shared their unique specialties and knowledge, pooling resources to tackle multiple counter-IED exercises in a realistic training environment.
