Jonathan Dickson, a Buckeye Lake, Ohio, native, and PV2 Ryan Beach, an Atlantic, Iowa native, take cover after firing a 120mm mortar round, which kicked up plenty of dust, Aug. 29. When receiving a call for fire, the mortarmen have only two minutes to prepare, aim and fire the rounds.
