A shipmate from the 163rd Transportation Detachment (Logistic Support Vessel), 524th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 45th Sustainment Brigade, loads his bags into a bus bound for the Honolulu International Airport, June 20. The 30-plus members of the detachment will be operating within the Persian Gulf supporting the US Army Central Command mission. The detachment bid farewell to their families and unit during a bittersweet ceremony on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
