Potts is a water treatment specialist, assigned to Company A, 82nd Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Multi-National Division-Baghdad. The water filtration system uses a series of filters in order to provide clean water to residents living in remote areas of the region where clean water is scarce or nonexistent.
