U.S. Army Sgt. Micah W. Govar learns steps of firing a rocket-propelled grenade launcher using a simulated weapon assisted by Bulgarian Land Forces Pvt. Lenko G. Andonov, an RPG shooter. Govar is a native of Pulaski, Tenn., and a fire direction controller of the Tennessee National Guard's 1-181st Field Artillery Battalion. The student of Union University in Jackson, Tenn., and other members of the Guard participated in Joint Task Force-East for their annual training. JTF-E is an element that gives both U.S. and partner nations the opportunity to conduct combined training to improve interoperability and military relationships that are vital to coalition success in contingency operations.
