Air Force Senior Airman Jose Mejia, 732nd Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron Detachment 2 Police Transition Team, performs maintenance checks on a mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicle, Aug. 22. His responsibility as a driver is to ensure the MRAP vehicle is ready to get his team to their destination safely while performing outside-the-wire combat support. The 732nd ESFS trains Iraqi policemen and conducts intelligence operations to enhance the security of the country. Airman Mejia is deployed from Ramstein Air Base, Germany, and is a native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
