    379th Air Expeditionary Wing

    U.S. Air Force Sgt. Patrick Wheeler, chief master, 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron C-21 aircraft maintenance superintendent, helps with a final preflight check for a C-21 preparing for take-off, Aug. 28, in Southwest Asia. As a C-21 maintenance superintendent, Chief Wheeler supports the C-21 mission of providing quick airlift capabilities for personnel and equipment throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. Chief Wheeler is deployed from the Connecticut Air National Guard in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
