160611-N-JO245-080 NORFOLK, Va. (June 11, 2015) — Two MH-60S Sea Hawks assigned to the Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 7 fire an unguided rocket from a LAU-61C/A rocket launcher during a live-fire exercise. The exercise was conducted to familiarize pilots and airmen with the MH-60S’s new weapons capabilities. HSC 7 provides vertical lift replenishment, search and rescue, logistics, anti-surface warfare, special operations forces support, and combat search and rescue capabilities for Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 3 in support of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D.
