Veterans of the 1st Cavalry Division who served during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm lay a yellow rose at the base of a tree memorializing Pfc. David M. Wieczorek, a Trooper with Company C, 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, who died during the conflict on March 2, 1991.
