A fire protection specialist from the New Jersey Air National Guard's 177th Fighter Wing uses Aqueous Film Forming Foam to battle a simulated aircraft fire at Military Sealift Command Training Center East in Freehold, N.J. on June 12. Airmen from the Wing hold annual training here to maintain mission readiness. AFFF is often used to smother Class B fires which are fueled by combustible liquids.
