A soldier from 2nd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, fires a rocket-propelled grenade during a Bulgarian weapons familiarization training, Bulgaria, June 12. During the exercise, 2/2 CR soldiers gained familiarization on the AK-47 assault rifle, and the RPG from their Bulgarian counterparts as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve. The purpose of Operation Atlantic Resolve is for the soldiers to train as a united front to demonstrate the pledge to the protection of our NATO allies and support for our partners in Europe.
