    Lance Cpl. Mike A. Rivera received a Safety Most Valuable Player Award from Col. Robert D. Hermes April 2 at Al Asad for his outstanding work as the safety noncommissioned officer-in-charge. Rivera is a future operations clerk with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 3, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. He was given the award for taking the responsibility of posting safety signs throughout the Tactical Aviation Command Center. Hermes is the officer-in-charge of the Department of Safety and Standardization, MWHS-3.
