150610-N-IU636-040 PEARL HARBOR (June 10, 2015) Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) command representatives receive a certificate of appreciation during the Pearl Harbor NMCRS 2015 Fund Drive Award Ceremony at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. This year's fund drive raised $483,262 to help support the society's mission of helping Sailors and Marines take care of their own. The NMCRS' workforce is comprised of nearly 90 percent volunteers who provide financial assistance and counseling, quick assistance loans, education assistance, health education and post-combat support, advice on how to budget for a baby, emergency travel assistance, disaster relief and thrift shops for Sailors, Marines and their families.
