Marines with Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment prepare an M777 Howitzer during a Reconnaissance Selection Occupation and Position training during a section chief course aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., May 18 – June 5. The Marines learn how to safely and efficiently prepare a howitzer for combat during the RSOP training event. The students performed various movements during the training event to simulate transporting the howitzer during a combat or field operation to a new firing point.
