U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Todd Mckeown, a machine gunner with Company B, 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, fires a 240B medium machine gun during support-by-fire drills June 2 during Exercise Predator Walk at Mount Bundey Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia. Support-by-fire training allows for Marines in the main fighting effort to be supported by larger weapons from a different location, normally in a higher position.
