    The Ohio-class guided-missile submarine USS Georgia is underway after a port visit to Naples, Italy. Georgia, home ported at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Ga., is on her maiden operational deployment since converting from a ballistic-missile submarine to a guided-missile submarine. The boat returned to service, March 28, 2008.
